Masterclass is open for:
Czech and foreign professional musicians, opera and concert singers, students of conservatories, music universities and other music schools
Singers - soprano, mezzo-soprano, countertenor, tenor, bariton, bassbariton, bass
Conductors
Harpsichordists - conducting from harpsichord
Baroque orchestra players - any baroque instruments
Age: 17 - 99
Students of Prague Conservatory and JAMU Brno have free entrance *
Every Active Participant will have 40 minutes to work with Maestro Alessandrini
Active participants: 15 singers, 15 conductors (or harpsichord players conducting from cembalo)
Language of instruction - English
Maestro Alessandrini will work with one singer (or two in case of duets) and one conductor (or harpsichord player) and baroque orchestra at the same time.* necessity of to fulfill all conditions of sending recording + certificate of study sent to email masterclass@baroquing.com, in the subject of the email write "certificate of study". We don 't guarantee selection of up to 15 active participants.

The following documents must be sent no later than 31 January 2024 to masterclass@baroquing.com :
- Receipt of payments of registration fee of deposit 50% (The rest may be paid at the same time)
- Certificate of study (for students of Prague Conservatory and JAMU)
** The recording of any aria (a cappella also possible). Recording on your iPhone: send the audio file with other documents to address masterclass@baroquing.com
Final Concert
- On the Final Concert can participate only Active Participants.
- Applicants for the Final Concert must have audition before the Masterclass.
- Audition for the Applicants for the Final Concert will be on Sunday 18th Feb 24 according to an arrangement at he rehearsal room of National Theatre in Prague.
- Only 8 singers and 8 conductors can participate on the Final Concert.

- It is necessary to pair the singer with the conductor; conductors are kindly requested to familiarize themselves with all the composition listed
Masterclass Fees:
- Active participant: 650€ (16000Kč)
- Pasive participant:20€ (500Kč)
- Orchestra player: 240€ (6000Kč)

By sending the financial amount to the baroquing account, you agree to the terms of the masterclass
In case of withdrawal for serious reasons (after evaluation by the Baroquing z.s. on the gravity of the reasons communicated), the participation fee, both for active participants and auditors, will be returned only if the vacancy is filled by a new student, all by February 2nd 2024.
After this date or for any other waiver, the fees paid will not be refunded.
Payment:
- Deposit of 50% of the entire amount to be sent by the 15th December 2023
- You pay the rest of the amount 10 days before the start (until 12th Feb 2024)
- In some cases a social discount may be granted
Students of Prague Conservatory and JAMU Brno have free entry. However it is necessary to submit an application and sent all documents
- If the applications exceed the established number of participants, a selection will be made on the basis of the audio material sent.
- To all subscribers who for lack of seats will not be accepted, by 12 February 2024 will be given notice via e-mail and will be returned the full amount of fees paid
Accommodation:
We do not provide accommodation
Cancelations:
- For reasons of force majeure or proven necessity, the Organization reserves the right to cancel the the Masterclass with the total refund of the registration and participation fees.
- The Baroquing z.s. declines any responsibility for any damage to persons or property during the entire course of the Masterclass (18.-21. February 2024)
